JetTrac DocGen for SyteLine is a complete “Plug and Play” solution for generating production documents from SyteLine data. All that needs to be done is install the software, hook it to SyteLine with our integrated DocGen SyteLine Connector and specify your printer for each document. ProTechnology will add your logo and address to the included forms and you are Ready To Go!

There are two different scenarios for SyteLine customers:

If your company has licensed the source code from Infor you will use our DocGen SyteLine Connector. The way it works is that when you want to print invoices, purchase orders or order acknowledgements our Connector will extract the data from your Progress database and format it into a Field Nominated Format with a Job Card and pass it directly to JetTrac DocGen. DocGen will merge the data into the correct document template and direct it to the specified printer. If you have purchased the Pro version then you can specify for each document whether they should be printed, faxed or emailed.
If your company has not licensed the source code from Infor you will use our DocGen Data Transformation module. The way it works is that when you want to print invoices, purchase orders or order acknowledgements Syteline will generate a data file in a Print Image Format that would normally go to an impact (dot matrix) printer to print on a pre-printed form. JetTrac DocGen intercepts this data stream and transforms the data into a Field Nominated Format then merges the data into the correct document template and direct it to the specified printer. If you have purchased the Pro version then you can specify for each document whether they should be printed, faxed or emailed.
